Hey guys I'm new here and don't have any pics to post (yet) but I just thought I'd drop by and tell my lil mascara fairy tale...
     So I'd been searching for a clump-free mascara with a life longer than a few months (*coughRIMMELcough*), and then one day I borrowed my mom's and it was PERFECT. She got hers in brown but I bought my own in black

1) Don't share mascara it's gross and asking for an infection.

2) You should not continue to use mascara older than several months ANYWAY because of bacteria/it's gross and asking for an infection.

i am agreeing with everyone else that you should toss the mascara at about 3 months, especially in the summer. basically, you're sticking something in a wet, dark hole, and then on your eye on a presumably daily basis.... even if you don't toss your foundation, powders, etc. in the recommended time frame, always toss your mascara... it preforms better and it keeps you healthy.

ok ok, i know, keeping old mascara is gross, you caught me. but the rimmel stuff i had before didn't hardly last a couple WEEKS w/o getting all dried up inside the bottle, which is just no good. (also, not everyone can afford to buy new makeup all the time). not trying to be over defensive or piss anyone off, i'm just saying...

thank you. and i'm not positive, but i'm pretty sure that you can only get pink eye from someone else who has it, and as my mother does not, i'm pretty sure i won't be needing meds for THAT. also, i don't keep my mascara over 3 months, that is gross, and by "a few" i meant maybe two. my old one didn't last near that long. i would never share makeup with strangers, especially those with pink eye. so eeeeeeeeeverybody take a chill pill please. :)
