if you have the cash, i've heard that the eyelash extensions rock. the salon my mom goes to does them, and i've looked at before/afters, they are pretty incredible, but they are a bitch to keep up with and expensive. might be an option though?
are false lashes difficult for you to apply? or does your eyeshape not allow for application of them at all?
some ladies find that a thin coat of mascara, then curling (curl in three steps, just read this tip tonight, curl once at the base, as far as you can go, then again about midway up, then the tips, supposedly will give you more natural curl and it will hold longer, from the beauty buyble i was flipping through tonight), then a thicker second coat helps 'set' the curl. there are also heated curlers (sephora makes one). if you're gentle you could also touch up curl throughout the day, when you do other touchups.
i just posted because funny enough i was just reading about this in that book (the beauty buyble) tonight :)
i like to keep all my make up simple. and i find applying of the false lashes would take a little longer and would complicate things. i have never worn them even for special events.
hey, thanks for the recommendation. but the description states that it'll help grow your lashes. i found a mascara that makes it lenghty and widthy but i'm having hard time of them not staying curled. after my mascara application it flattens out
my lashes hate to stay curled as well, & it SUCKS! here are some of my tricks.... start w/the lash curler at the base of your lashes & hold it for a good 15 seconds & then "pump" the curler. them move it up a little past the base & do the same. you might have to repeat this again, & maybe after mascara application. also, i got this fantastic little thing from sephora called an individual lash curler & i use that AFTER i use my regular lash curler. it sucks & it takes more time than anything else in my make-up routine, but you gotta do what you gotta do. oh, also, i used to heat my lash curler up w/ the blow dryer before i got that individual lash curler, but you gotta be REALLY carefull, lol!
