Aww your two are so cute and it's great them seem to get on well together.
Those poor horses. Do they look well though, not skinning or anything? I do hope so, otherwise I be in two minds about whether to report them to the RSPCA or whatever is the equivalent in the US, love the glowing eyes :)
Thank you for commenting on my pets-post! Dog & cat are absolutely cute together; Susie the cat just adores the dog, and she starts to follow when we go out for a walk.
As for the horses, I'm keeping an eye on them. Every odd day they get fresh hay, so they are fed, though not permanently. But they aren't skinny. Just neglected. "Just". *sighs* It drives me crazy that in the country horses are actually kept for - meat. Yes. Some of them get - slaughtered. *sobs* I just hope "my" two friends won't have this fate. But if so, I'll try to make their lives as happy as can be. And if you wonder - no, horse meat isn't eaten daily, just by the ones who ask for it (shudder). You won't get it in the supermarket. But, like I said, in the country it's more common. I had to learn that (in a hard way) when I moved here. The first horses I met last year and I friended were gone suddenly. WHAAAAAAA. No. I can't get used to it. Sorry I wrote so much, but this moves me a lot.
Thank you, puma, for your comment! Aren't the two of them cute? It's amazing how well they get on together - Susie, the cat, adores Toby, the dog; whereas Toby accepts her. But, when we go out for a walk, and Susie comes along (!), he always keeps an eye on her, checking if she's safe. *sighs*
Btw, she stopped being mean. She's still very active, and she still bites me, but only if I teased her first. She's a wild thing, she already presented me 22 mice, but that's her job. Besides being my little girl. *g*

I friended those horses because I feel sorry for them. I fear that they are just kept for - meat. *gulps*
