Bloody hell... I must be coming down with something nasty. Last few of days, I've been all stuffered up and my throat was feelin' like I was trying to sound like Rod Stewart gargled with broken glass. THAT I can handle. Grab a 7up or a coke and I'm good to go behbeh ( Read more... )

*chuckles at the mention of talking to your navel* Heh... I had to do that yesterday at the hospital with the gingerale. Tell my stomach to behave and accept a little help so I could leave that hell-hole.

Yeah, usually when I get the flu, it's not pleasant either. I don't hurf either, because stomach viruses don't stay in me long, but when I do... watch it. lol. Last time I couldn't stop and I finally collapsed in bed... and fell asleep.

Good thing Taz was there to help ya out. ^_^

How ya doing btw? Still sickers yourself?

Oh not good. I don't usually get That bad. I hurf once or twice and it's done. Well, ya only need a couple grenades in the laucher to do damage right?

Yeah. I can usually count on him to figure out I need help. I don't ask for it often so when I do, he's figured out after all these years it must be important. He's good people. :)

food poisoning can get pretty bad sometimes, I would steer clear of that brand of TV dinner for a while, if not forever. If it turns into more than a 1-2 day thing, than it wasn't anything you ate and you either caught it if you ever went grocery shopping with Chris, or he brought it home from work.

It could be. I'm staying clear of the beef tips from now on just in case... Like I said, it wasn't like they were really good on my body anyway so nothing lost.

And it feels a lot like what I had last year around this time though so I kinda think this is an annual thing for my body. I don't usually get too much sicker than this once I've done it once.
I mean... While other people go get flu shots and what all, I just get hellishly sick for a week or two than I generally don't get anywhere Near that sick again until the next year. I get migraines and allergies and what all but not pass-out-seeing granny-trying-to-tell-me-to-stay-put sick until the next season rolls in.
I'm not usually this stupid about it though. Like I Should have taken some meds when I felt it coming on instead of being stubborn and thinking I could out pace it.
I just hate taking medicine unless I Absolutely have to ya know?

*snugs* Thanks for thinking about me though sis. Love ya lots!

Oh man, darlings talking to your stomach doesn't do any good it's a Mind thing. Your stomach's just doing what the brain tells it to do. Not only is the hurfing method used to get icky food out of your stomach when you're sick, the brain also uses it as a distraction from something unpleasent.

Yeah thats right when your mind doesn't want to think about something it'll distract itself(and you) with vomiting. Never fails...for alittle while.

Drinking hot chocolate was a good idea, gives you something else to do besides fret over not hurfing. *fluffs* Can't go wrong with chocolate aye?

Personally, I'm a very good hurfer when sick. Sure it's no fun, but I Always feel better afterwards. I don't know What I would of done aocuple years ago when I was having a terrible stomach reaction to caffiene if I couldn't hurf. My stomach probably would of exploded from the pressure. o.x Ugh.

*snughugs* I hope you get better soon.

Well my mind and body Seldom agree... But as far as whether I'm a "good" hurfer or not... I feel better Afterwards but it's hard to say half the time if it's because the toxins are gone or just I'm so freakin' glad to be done hurling. Either way it's nasty.

Ah yes, Chocolate is indeed the cure-all for anything. *smile* Got the blues? Here's a Hershey bar! Heart break...?? Oh That calls for a box of Whitman's Gold! Stomach upset? *passes out a bag of Hershey's Kisses*

Hummm... Well I know my mind tends to react that way normally on things but in this case, I don't have any idea Why or What it would be screwing me up on. Basically things are normal around here. Yeah we got a new nuker but that's hardly anything to be upset over. And like I mentioned to LL, it might be that or it might be food poisoning but the way it feels... It's prolly just my body getting the flu out of the way like it tends to every year at this time.
