Gotta hate it when that happens! Although I think it's a bit much for people to be snippy or get their feelings hurt when they IM someone on a random occasion and that person doesn't respond. For all you know, that person isn't even at their desk (even sleeping perhaps, lol). To me, that is the height of self-centeredness (is that even a word??), but then I am awfully opinionated. I know, I know, I remind myself all the time, opinions are like assholes - everyone has one. ;)
That doesn't make any sense. If you message someone who is your friend and they don't respond *at all*, why would you think anything other than "Oh, they must be busy/not at the computer/having puter probs". Like the other night when on my end it looked like you were just typing forever, but in reality you were trying to talk to me, it just wasn't coming thru on my end. Seriously now. Unless people have some kind of guilt complex and have done something to warrant you not speaking to them, then I'd say they're nucking futs. That's just my opinion, though.
