I don't know if you'll get this, but I recently came back to LJ and tracked you down.

I'm so sorry for your loss, and I can say that I've gone through similar circumstances recently. I've lost 5 family and friends over the past 1.5 years; it still strikes me even now as I re-read what I've typed.

The only thing that's brought any sort of light in my life, and my surviving friends and family, was my marriage and the arrival of our first little bundle of joy.

Good things do happen after the bad, you just need to wait it out and keep busy.
