[In spite of his amazing victory at the grocery store (and don't fool yourselves into thinking it was a loss, he accomplished exactly what he wanted!), Aku is on the prowl. [Your favorite idiot is out in the forest today Aku - do you follow him or ignore the classified moron? Right now he's just headed out looking to move away from the village.]

[Vash had better be careful, because some of those puddles in the woods might be a little darker and blacker than the others.]

[Vash is still a derp who likes the water, he has been splashing through some of the bigger puddles - but he actually avoids some of the darker ones. Not sure why, but they're just unsettling to him. Maybe he's not a total moron?]

[eyebrowsonfire]

[After Vash passes up some of the darker ones, they'll actually begin following him from behind. Of course, were he to look back, they'd return to being normal puddles.]

[Vash does look back once or twice, but eventually gets deep enough into the forest to set up a foam target he found in the shops. Although he keeps looking around. Someone can't shake that 'I'm being watched' feeling.]

[eyebrowsonfire]

[When Vash comes to a stop, a puddle will be forming around his feet. But by the time Vash notices, he might find it a little difficult to get out of it.]

[goldenglasses]

[He'll notice when he tries to move, only to find himself stuck.] What!? [Tries to yank his feet out harder.]

[eyebrowsonfire]

[That puddle will slowly begin to take the distinct shape of a hand which starts to close around him.]

[goldenglasses]

[This is another time Vash will wish he was something other than a gunman in a world full of magic people, but since it's what he does best and knows nothing of this hand’s power that’s coming at him, he draws his gun and fires three rounds at it in less than a second.]

[eyebrowsonfire]

[The bullets are absorbed into the inky blackness of the arm... which now clearly belongs to Aku, who brings Vash upwards towards his face.]

[Well shit, that was useful. Vash swears under his breath as the hand clamps around him and lifts him up, struggling uselessly against it. And then stares up at Aku.]

Oh hey there, Aku! How are you doing? [Not happy, not happy, not happy - oh crap this isn’t good.]

I am doing quite fine, foolish Vash. But soon you will not be so happy to see me.

[goldenglasses]

[He's already not happy to see you.] A-ah! I'm sorry I shot at... your hand. I didn't know it was you Master Aku! [Play to the nice giant's ego. Yes. We like living, yes we do.]

[Aku dramatically rolls his eyes.] Do not attempt to earn the favor of the almighty Aku. I am well aware of your treachery.
