"i'm sorry" becomes a tedious catchphrase,
a regret when i cannot understand how
i can err at the rate i seem
to do in my mind.
i'm tired of saying the words, losing their meaning
out of fear of losing
something we probably never had
in the first place.

I really like this.

I feel like the last line should somehow be assembled differently to put more weight in it, because the sentiment, the affection swept up by a tsunami of almost tangible bitterness has a gravitas to it which isn't quite allowed to breathe.

Apologies, I know that's not tremendously helpful, but it's near perfect in most respects x
