Clever icons. LOL to #3.
For your last set, I like your idea. Did you try intensifying the contrast at all, or do you prefer the muted colors more? Either way, nice technique.

Thank you :) I think I intensified lots of individual layers, but had them so that they were...muted, I guess? I like both muted and loud colors, though. I've been trying different things.
