Ohhhhh I love all of them! I can't even choose a favorite, even WITH the Eugene/Curly sweetness thrown in there!
Ummm, I love the first one because it's sad and heartbreaking. The second one is just... AWESOME, because of how much sense it makes. Eugene and Curly putting on performances at some school show is totally seeable and I love how the hot coals are both a metaphor and a totally literal thing for Crazy Curly.
And the last one is just - Oh, Arnold! That is... ouch. Oh, Rhonda you are the very worst in the entire world (and I love you). I love Pataki's era fics, because we don't get a lot of 'em and I've always loved the whole idea of Arnold leaving Hillwood and the effects of that.
Thank you! One of the things about Curly/Eugene that just clicks into place is their love for performing. Curly isn't as obvious about it, but we all know he is very dedicated to his ballet!
Awesome! I absolutely LOVE the last one (surprise, surprise!), but not just because of the G/H, but because we so rarely see Arnold's reaction to it! Absolutely fantastic.
And EUGENE/CURLY. I'm almost convinced there's a little canon in there now.
Thanks! I'm glad you love the last one! The last line is what came to me first, and it made sense that G/H would bring about those feelings in Arnold. Not even just Gerald and Helga getting together, but the fact that Arnold had to hear about it second-hand.
Curly and Eugene's shared love for performing could totally bring them together believably! :D
The first and the third. Geez. This pair... It still owns me.
And so does your writing. Still amazing. :D
Of course, I assumed the first was about A/H as I do every single thing to do with Helga. But, now that I read it again, it's openness is a thing of beauty. :3
