Sorry! Lol! But you've got to give Percy Jackson a try, you've just got to. *stares pleadingly*

I'll try! But I'm not making any promises. It may be like a year from now. xD

D: But the last book comes out this spring (I think...lol). Surely you can bump Percy Jackson a little higher on the list... ;)

I think you recommended A Strong and Sudden Thaw before. It's definitely on the top of my list now!

Oh, I loved it so much. I might read it again this winter, because it's definitely a "curl up by the fireplace" kind of book, since it takes place in a cold climate.

Good luck getting hold of it! It's out of print right now (though there are still copies available on Amazon.com), but I think the author is getting it re-published in 2009.

Heh, well then it'll make me feel better that it doesn't get cold where I live! XD

Huh; I guess I'll try Amazon then, or just hunt around the used bookstores. Thanks!

The Percy Jackson books have been on my to-read list for a while, probably since the last time you mentioned them, lol.

Water for Elephants is another circus books, really interesting, and one of the few adult books I've read this year. It's fairly popular, so not incredibly hard to find. By Sara Gruen, I think :-)

Oh yes, I've heard of Water for Elephants. I believe it's already on my circus wishlist. :)

It has photos and stuff throughout the book from real circuses of the 40s (30s? 50s? Sometime in there anyway) and is historically accurate, from what I hear. So, yay!
