Unfortunately, I'm going to have to be a drop out for this round. Writing just hasn't been going well this year.

But thank you guys for all the hard work and quotes and everything else you post. I can't wait to read stories. :D

Writing has been super hard this year. I'm going to have to drop out I'm afraid that at the rate I've been going I definitely won't finish in time. I will most definitely be back next round!!!

I'm not likely to meet the goal for this challenge. Time was a fierce enemy and in the end, I deleted more words than I added so that I don't see myself making 100k by far, even if I might find an end to this story.

So … I guess that means I have to drop out yet again, even though it breaks my heart. But on the plus side, this year got me much further than the last, so maybe, with a lot of luck, I'll be good enough next year =)

Thank you so much for everything. It's always good to be a part of this (even when I fail). I just really love and enjoy this community so much.

If I dare sign up, I'll be more disciplined next year, I promise!

I am not going to hit the 100K goal. Structuring my response to the challenge as separate stories in the same universe basically lead to me shooting myself in the foot. Metaphorically.

I have two of the stories done but can't seem to finish the others to get up to the total goal.

I think I will sign up again next time with one huge project (I have a bunny already) and write only it from start to finish with no other projects competing for my attention. At least this challenge has taught me things about my own writing process and what works and what doesn't work for me, which is a win in a way, I suppose.
