I'm sorry it's taken me so long to read, and even longer to comment.

The characters ring true in light of canon; Dean's wariness, his reactions fit perfectly with what was seen in Lazarus Rising (4x01) and the 'flashbacks' of Hell what we've been later given. Castiel, his non-personality, his total ignorance of sexual connotations inherent in nudity (alas), his way of performing his duties... all perfectly in line. Even Bobby, small as his part is, sounds like himself.

This is a good coda/missing scene/whatchamacallit for 4x01, imo, filling in the blanks of S4.
