So here is my new favourite mashed potato recipe, I highly reccommend it -- spicy, flavorful and refreshing and full of green bits.

(Adapted from Neelam Batra's 1000 Indian Recipes5-6 medium sized potatoes

i swear, lately i find more comfort and relaxation in cooking for other people than in almost anything else. i need more willing stomachs close to home.
