The boob tube does not, alas, herald an end to the featured bra strap. In fact it promotes it. Should Cape Town trendoids follow the same trend as those in London, I'm afraid you can look forward to a good long stretch of boob tubes *and* bras. Together at last. Lots of bra on display (strap *and* upper part of cup!), which may or may not be attractively co-ordinated with the tube, and which does not, alas, put paid to the hitching. Just avert your eyes and wait for the 80s to die, again. It could take a while. And when winter rolls around, be prepared for the horrors of winter shorts. With tights.

No more misleading titles, please. I was hoping for Hot Gossip, not mere sartorial criticism. Although sartorial criticism is always fun.

Aaargh! the horror! although for some reason none of the errors in taste I've recently observed had the bra thing going, so maybe CT is doing a sort of partial, incomplete version of the trend, in its usual naive fashion. Although this also suggests that that other mammary contraption, the strapless bra, is back? aaaargh! the horror!
