I am intrigued by this footballer AU! Is Ronaldo in it, inquiring minds etc etc? And maybe I'm showing my nerd here, but I'm so annoyed that the text analyzer doesn't have detailed breakdowns of what it's actually comparing. Is it sentence length? Word usage? Word choice? Grammatical structure? Use of adverbs? Use of profanity? Like seriously dudes, I want some graphs!

I suspect a lot of it is noun usage, which makes the whole thing kind of useless I guess - someone on my flist kept copy-and-pasting "Sherlock Holmes" and "Lestrade" in and was told they wrote like ACD. I suspect if you c&p Harry Potter fanfic you'll get JKR!

HAHA of course they're best bros, that is amazing. And noun usage, that's so funny. I kept getting Chuck Palahniuk and I'm pretty sure it's because of present tense; I want to go through and try a bunch of different present tense stuff to see if it all comes out as him. I want to know their comparison parameters, dammit!

I didn't have one until literally five seconds before I made this post! I was like, "hmmm, I'm pretty in love with her now, GUESS I SHOULD SHOW THAT VISUALLY".

That writing meme is ridiculous. My original fic gave me Joyce, Nabokov, and Stephen King, and when I put in bits of Present Tenses, it told me I wrote like Palahniuk. So.

I love everything about this paragraph: Tanith never looked out of place in any situation or anything she happened to be wearing, let alone her sleek one-piece swimsuit. Meryl's hair obviously wasn't at its best, and she felt self-conscious in her polka-dotted bikini as she pulled herself out of the pool. Even though she knew she couldn't help it, she could smell the chlorine on herself. Tanith's own skin smelt warm, of sunblock and strawberries. I tried to cut it down to just a phrase or a line, but no, it's the whole paragraph.

I also really loved the detail about Tanith never swearing, but how that makes it so much better when she does, because I know people like that, and it is awesome.

Basically - it is awesome and so are you! (I'm sorry I have no relevant icons.)
