Ohhh, this was so lovely. I loved the whole feel of it, and I loved Shizuka's voice (and, just, Shizuka in general ♥). And, oh, boys! (I think this is how I end every comment about a Johnny/Stéphane fic, ahah.)

OMG :DDDDDDDD WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH ILU. IL SHIZUKA AND IL STÉPHANE AND JOHNNY BEING ALL CUTE AND STÉPHANE BEING UNSURE. I love the secne on the bridge the most, closely followed by Stéphane and Shizuka in her room after the phone call. I love Johnny making overtures of friendship to Shizuka and also DAISUKE.

I'm so glad you liked it, because you are the biggest Shizuka fan I know! I'll be honest -- I reread this story SO MANY TIMES before posting it's getting kind of blurry to me, so I am super glad you liked it. \o/ (I couldn't not mention Daisuke!)

i read this story a few hours ago, and now i had to go back and reread it to make sure i soak it all in, because its marvelous <3333 really, you are so so talented :)
i love the feel of time standing still ,and the characterizations, so brilliant!
She thought Johnny was nice -- rather hard to impress, perhaps, but she respected that.
i love this because it says so much in one sentence...
She always thought -- maybe it was Johnny, because from what she knew of Stéphane, he’d never been anything but fearless about throwing himself into new things, relationships or otherwise -- but that seemed unfair, and it wasn’t her place to judge.
really makes you wonder!
Stéphane took advantage of that to stand before it, hands outreached, his belly peeking out under his windbreaker, and Johnny reached out and snapped a photo of that before Stéphane could give the permission that Johnny didn’t ask of him. so vivid, and also one the little things she notices johnny doing which tell her he also cares. just awesome ( ... )
