Pumpkin clove pound cake with vanilla mace Italian meringue buttercream frosting and a little sprinkle of cinnamon on top. In cupcake form, because cupcakes are wonderful.
Oh damn hell yes, that sounds good. M. made a cream cheese poundcake last week using wetdyke's mom's recipe. It was pretty much to die for, but I'm contemplating whether it wouldn't be better with lemon zest/juice.

The buttercream turned out delicious. I've experimented a few times in recent months with Italian meringue style buttercreams. I found that the temperature needs to be just right or you end up with a big bowl of goo that tastes delicious, but is a bitch to spread. That said, here's how I made this one
