Well. Someone certainly likes to be dramatic.

[ The Sphere flickers on to the message scrawled across the wall of Level 3. There's a faint burbling in the background, barely recognisable as whatever noise the robots make when they're in pursuit. Then, a sudden crack of electricity and silence.

After a pause, Tyki steps forward to examine the message

[tilts the Sphere so that it shines over the disaster area.]

Looks like someone threw a party that went south fast.

[ she shakes her head. ]

Can't tell without looking more closely. Might have to take a walk out there myself.

[ sigh. melodramatically not what she wants to do. ]

An interesting kind of party, at least.

Cheer up. From the sounds of it, you'll have plenty of things to look at on the way.

The production line's still kept safe by whatever barrier protected it in the first place.

[ Something Sasuke has been checking out, though he's stuck himself up on the ceiling to avoid detection by the recent round of robots coming around. All's clear for now. ]

[glancing at his position in some amusement.]

Pity. And nothing can take the barrier down?

Nothing has so far. [ a negligent shrug; ] Doesn't mean nothing can.

[Her eyes narrow as she reads the message, her ears folding back.]

After the past few days, this does not surprise me, dramatic or not.

Oh? And what do you make of it?

Aside from whoever was here before us possibly has the same grudge against the captain that we do? [She shakes her head, looking tired.] Not much, I am afraid. I have been spending too much time gathering supplies and dodging the metal demons to have been able to puzzle over the logic behind the captain's madness.

If it's a grudge, they weren't very clever about it. And I believe they call those metal demons robots.

Ah. It's the younger one. Can you make shadow doors at that age, boy?

[He means portals, of course.]
