So one of my New Year's resolutions is to try to reconnect with LJ. I'll probably fail miserably, but I genuinely miss both the community and the amazing record of my life LJ was for such a long time, so I'd really like to get back into the swing of it. Twitter is a serious hindrance, and I have a whole other social life there, but I'm going to try

Let's see if we can both reconnect with LJ this year! Posting is hard for me right now, I think because it requires actually sitting down for a period of time to write, which is a completely different mindset than the quick, short updates that Twitter allows.

That would be awesome! I'm reading through my flist now, and while it's a little tough because everyone's in fandoms I'm AWARE of but not INVESTED in, it's still really nice to see all these names again. Hopefully I'll gradually start commenting and everything too. I miss everyone who isn't on Twitter!

I keep realizing things that show how long it's been. I forget exactly what icons I have, for one thing, and it's hard to remember some peoples' LJ names, especially if I have a new name for them in my head from Twitter! Ahh! Yeah it's been too long. Let's do this girl! ♥♥♥
