There's nothing you can say to make them go away

This is my 2,501st post! Yay! *throws confetti* My my, I've certainly had a lot to say, haven't I? Not recently as much, sadly, but LJ has been such a hugely important part of my life for the last 6 years or so. I'm so glad I found it and all of you ( Read more... )

Hiii I was thinking about you yesterday and I said to myself: "Self, tomorrow we're writing Anne an email!" AND HERE YOU ARE, IT'S LIKE MAGIC. *clings*

I know how much your dad means to you, so I think it's wonderful that you get to have him around again. And enjoy his cooking, om nom nom!

I hope things start looking up on the investigation front, darling.

Being a football fan is SO HARD. My team is doing GREAT on the local front but we bombed two international tournaments, it was really frustrating. :/ Why won't you play great all the time, football teams?

This week we're going to start planning what to do during the trip to NYC in December. IT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING, WHAT.

I LOOOVE YOU, LADY. ♥♥♥

Helloooo Paula! I have missed youuu! An email would still be very lovely. :D

SO FRUSTRATING! I suppose the World Cup gave me a taste of that - the highest highs and the LOWEST LOWS - but it's still been uncool for my chosen team to play THE WORST IT EVER HAS just as I start following them. >:( I suppose that means it can only get better from here? I'm sorry about your teams but I'm glad they're doing well locally! Do you get to see them play live?

NYC!! That's SO exciting bb!!! I'm really happy for you! :D I am bummed though that you'll be SO CLOSE to me and yet so far. :(( ONE DAY WE WILL MEET!

I LOVE YOU TOOOOOO! *SMOOCH*

The Mainz boys are adorable~!

Good luck with school. I dropped out of grad school after a year, because I was in the wrong path. I never actually got to start on research, though.

Tonight: WORLD BEER FESTIVAL. Week-long migraine be damned, I'm going.

Naturally, I brightened up that picture like a total creeper, and his kitchen looks VERY TIDY. Boys who do their own laundry AND clean!!

Hahaha, you ARE a creeper, I love it. I was gonna say that I thought it was his parents' house, but then I realized he probably lives in housing at the Mainz club with the other footballers, which suggests SO MANY SHENANIGANS and I wish I knew more about how their lives worked. You'll appreciate this snippet of an interview with Lewis and his teammate Andre which references shenanigans due to shared living space:

Interviewer: Lewis and Andre, you share a room. Do you watch TV until you fall asleep, or do you play games, hit each other with pillows when one of you snores? What should we imagine?
Andre: Yeah, Lewis snores a little, so I wake him up, but we watch DVDs and have some fun together. [interviewer and crowd laugh, Andre laughs] No, no, not what you’re thinking.
Interviewer: No, that would be lovely! [mischievous smile; audience laughs again]
HEEE. I'd read it, not gonna lie. I wish I could understand them during the interview (my friend translated it for me) but I love watching it anyway because they're so smiley and cute. It' ( ... )

How did I not know you lived in Ann Arbor? I have a friend who goes to school out here in LA who is from there.

Coolness about your dad living close. Awesome sauce!

I suppose because I've been posting so infrequently! I moved to Ann Arbor last July. :) It's a great little city!

I really do love having my daddy around!

YES! We do! Oh how I fail at life, I am so, so sorry. I have been distracted by traveling and tests and so on and so forth. Let's try this again! And instead of just a time, we should probably work out a place/contact info/etc. :) So when is good for you? Sometime next week is best for me.
