Yaaay for playing soccer :) I'm actually jealous! I'd love to play it, but my knee won't ever allow me to do that (I dislocated it when I was a teenager and skateboarding didn't do it any good and now it's basically useless when it comes to fast running and kicking and jumping)
Ugh, I am the least athletic person alive, but Adidas branding definitely worked its charm. After I bought my first jersey (Bayern Munich trainer), I fell in love with the quality and the beauty of it. (So soft too, oh lord - the only other high-quality shirt I own is a UNIQLO tee, but they handpick their fabrics carefully, so that one actually makes sense.) I'm almost worried to buy a USMNT jersey just because they're Nike and I don't know if it'll be made as well. XD (And don't get me started on the other ads! God damn you, Nutella

I second the Adidas branding! If I ever were to get a tattoo, it would probably be the Three Stripes on my ankle, because I'm that dedicated. Ne'er a pair of Nike trainers will ever pass through my door on my feet. ;)
