I haven't been posting pretty much at all, and it's really unfortunate. Kind of a bad side effect of Twitter - I already feel like i've talked about myself enough every day, I don't really feel the pressing need to make a blog post. I bought mine the first model year they were out, so it's over five years old and I've never had to fix ANYTHING. Only normal maintenance and a new battery. Never broken down on me or failed to start (except when the battery needed replacing), even when it's cold or hasn't been driven in a week or two, like when I'm out of town.

Science! \o/ Thank you darling :D We really should have that chat about grad school because I think you're feeling the same way I was in some ways and I'd love to pass on my experiences!
As for rotating somewhere I can't join, that was actually an accident... I agreed to rotate with Zaneta, then a friend mentioned she wasn't taking thesis students and I was like o.O what?? So I asked Zaneta, and she was like oh yeah I don't really have the funding. And I was like O.O you didn't think to tell me this earlier?!?? But unfortunately she was kind of the only person other than Jason I really wanted to rotate with, so I just said eff it, I'll do it for the experience and hang all my hopes on Jason. Maybe stupid, but if I don't get in to Jason's lab (knock on wood!!) I can rotate in a third lab this summer.
