AUGH I KNOW. JAIME. And, I mean, it is totally ~symbolic and plays into his ~rediscovery of his identity~ and all, but. Just. Jaime, bb. ♥ (GRRM really doesn't pull any punches. With anything.) BUT MY FAVOURITE PART IS STILL WHEN HE GOES BACK AND JUMPS INTO THE BEAR PIT WITH HER. sans a hand and probably majorly infected with something-or-other. Oh, Jaime. He was a little bit stupid there, but it's the thought that counts. :D And then ALL OF THEIR INTERACTION LATER. siiiigh. They are kind of like the odd couple, but they make sense in a weird way. They balance each other! \o/

AND MFY TO DANY, I LOVE HER SO MUCH. I really kind of like saying that my fandom features a silver-haired, purple-eyed princess with a tragic past who is not a Mary Sue. She's just brilliantly characterized and so, so badass.

Okay so I just read a few more chapters and FUCKING WALDER FREY KILLED ROBB AND CATELYN?!??? AUGH! NO WAI. GRRM you are on notice!!! And possibly ARYA too?! Though I doubt that last one - I'm guessing the Hound's axe just knocked her out, but STILL. She was SO CLOSE. Poor Catelyn, thinking ALL her babies are dead when really just Robb is D: I want people to find each other again! Just one happy reunion, is that too much to ask??? Ow ow ow ow D: Everything is so BLEAK!

Has GRRM said how may books the series is gonna be total?

Ahaha, at the moment it's a projected seven, but then again it was also projected to be a trilogy, way back when. Seven is the official number for now, though!

And by seven he means ten, and by the time he gets there we'll be in our 40s! Crazy. Why did I ever invest myself in these books, goodness. I'm getting way too flaily about them, haha.

Oh phew, I'm glad to hear Arya's okay. Her story is definitely not done yet! (Nor is Gendry's, I imagine - there's no reason GRRM would keep Robert's bastard around for so long if he didn't have a part to play!)

May I just say, Joffrey is such a DOUCHEFACE. He needs a arrow to the throat, stat. (These books are making me bloodthirsty!)
