So during the LJ Blackout of DOOM, I spent my time watching YouTube videos of Panic! and TAI, because my computer crashed and lost all my loaded fic tabs, WOE. :( This is the piled up commentary that I typed into my Xjournal program over the course of last night, and now I share it with you lucky folks *g

OMGYES. Pete Wentz = Padfoot! I've actually been thinking about this for a while now. Pete & Patrick are totally Sirius and Remus! Fall Out Boy are Marauders. They solemnly swear they are up to no good.

It's also a really fun game to imagine what house various bandom people would be in. For instance, Gabe Saporta? Obviously Slytherin. Spencer Smith also. Brendon Urie is clearly a Hufflepuff. Ryan Ross is a Ravenclaw and Jon Walker is Gryffindor. I think William Beckett goes into Slytherin as well, and Travis McCoy to Ravenclaw. Um, you get my point. Heh.

Also, I Will Destroy Ryan Ross... is pretty much one of my favorite stories ever. It's so hilarious, and oh god, William.

Awww, Brendon. *pats his cute little head* The Ryan Ross in that fic makes me think he'd be a Slytherin, but clearly he's not *actually* that evil, LOL. Ha, I think I have different pictures of Pete and Patrick than you do. But I would STILL pay to see a HP Au that put them in those roles.

Patrick has a temper likewhoa, and he has said a lot of times that he's a much bigger bastard than Pete. And Pete can get all depressive and withdrawn.

But, you know, what do we really know about them anyway?

Ooh, I see. You probably know much more about Pete and Patrick than I do, I just started paying attention to them! I still think Pete and Sirius works though, because Sirius can get very melancholy and broody at times, the poor duck. But Patrick is just inevitably far cooler and more... hm, prickly? than Remus, I think you're right there.

But still. FOB at Hogwarts ftw!

Ahahaha, I DIED of laughter at that line. Oh man. And Pete all annoyed at William asking him no to fuck Ryan! I was crying with laughter :D

Ha, yeah. I'm just feeling my way into it, too. Fanon makes Patrick so gentle and he directly contradicts that in a few interviews, so it always kind of delights me when I find fic where Patrick is mean and bitchy and human, but also like, nice and musical-genius-y.

Pete could totally be Sirius, except he's so small and skinny and wimpy. I'm pretty sure I could kick Pete's ass. But he does punch people. He's got the bad-ass spirit of Sirus! Aww.
