So apparently it ISN'T lame to go to a movie by yourself! I'm not sure why I was so convinced of that. Suffice to say - I'm going to OOTP in IMAX, dammit! \o/

Two things that are making me giggle a lot:

Baby's Named a Bad, Bad Thing has provided me with many hours of amusement and even more hours of facepalming. Some of those people should never have bred.

God, I know. I am a firm believer that all people should be implanted with birth control at a young age, then have to take a test on good parenting (and SANITY) to get it removed. Freedoms schmeedoms! It would have a wonderful cascading effect - less batshit people breeding means less batshit children due to all the issues their parents pass on to them, and the world would eventually be a much saner place! ;)

It is lame....until the lights go out and who gives a damn, youre watching Harry Potter at Imax. Never been to a movie alone, but many concerts.

Excellent point. I doubt it will feel lame in the slightest, in the experiencing of it.

I've always preferred going to the movies alone. My mother thinks this is the worst thing ever.

The Jolie-Pitt reference in that fic made me think of you and your thing for Ocean's 11 when I was reading it last night!

Husband's good friend from work just had a little boy and they named him Banyan. WTF! WHy not just go with "Ficus" and get it over with?!? DO YOU HATE YOUR CHILD?!

Banyan makes me think of nothing so much as a bunion. WTF. Name your child after an ugly foot deformity! AWESOME. *facepalm*
