So I've finally picked up Angel again - I'd stalled early in season 4 a couple months ago, when I got into Farscape and Atlantis and what have you. But I finally watched the next episode and now I've been plowing through steadily, cause it's so damn goodI just watched the S4 ep where Wesley gets Faith out of jail. Whenever I encounter people who don't like Faith--and that *gasp* happens--if they haven't watched Angel, I just don't fully believe them. Because her arc really occurs on both shows and I personally think she was written better on AtS.

I completely concur. There's this huge gap between S3 BtVS Faith and S7 BtVS Faith, and you can only comprehend her if you've seen that gap filled by her time on AtS. Angel is where she finally comes into herself, breaks and then heals, and it's just... oh. So perfect.

Ohhhhh, S4. I am in love with S4. If I had to pick a favorite season, that'd probably be it. I know it wasn't a lot of people's cup of tea, but Connor's one of my top three favorite characters on that show ever, and that's when he was around the most, so in conclusion: S4 rocks my socks.

Oh, and you're only up to "Cavalry!" It gets SO GOOD after that. "Inside Out" is ahead of you and that is sheer awesome.

S5, one word for you to ruminate on: Illyria. Just sayin'.
