This. You beat a lot of journalists on this subject (I read a similar article to that washington post one in...ah, lots of places, really). Simply because you actually understand both sides of the satire; the satired and what's being used to satire. Most of those journalists probably don't get batman half as well...

Anyway, that aside, this was quite brilliant. I think I should show it to people.

I ♥ you so much right now. See, this is what I like reading. You always have a fresh perspective that I never get to read elsewhere. Every news source I read here take matters too seriously. Well, exceptions being the large satirical shows with Jon Stewart and one of the writers occasionally graces a column in Boston's daily Metro.

If it wasn't for the fact that newspapers seem to be run by idiots, I'd say you'd make a great journalist.

Wow. Just, wow. I'll admit, I don't pay as much attention as I used to when it comes to politics, so some of the names and scenarios you mention (in previous entries) don't stick. (The political world just infuriates me so much. I can't stand the fact that people argue tooth and nail over the little shit and miss the big picture, misinterpret it and bring religion into it.) But this, great. Brilliant.

You should be published, I haven't read anything this good in quite sometime.

It's cool, most politicians I blast on this blog are local ones. Just like I don't know a lot about your politicians besides Obama. :)
