i know he's just a dog but this is really hard. for the first time today he didn't eat all his food. he's never in the 8 years i've had him not finished his food. then when he lays down he groans with every breath. i'm hoping he's just sore from the biopsy surgery. it kills me to see him in pain. i planned on going out tonight but i'm scared

i've been through the exact same thing, my dog had the same disease...it felt so awful watching him like that. i was 13 but i still remember and can relate.
i wish i could be there so i could give both you and church a big hug...
