So they're booting up the Large Hadron Collider tomorrow. If you don't know what that is, long story short is there is an approximately 1-in-80-billion chance that it will create a black hole and swallow our planet. That doesn't seem very likely, until you consider that the chance that we exist here to begin with is approximately 1-in-10^52.
