Good things: I absolutely love having a big hard drive. I feel comfortable burning a lot of my music to my hardrive these days. I used to try to keep my music collection down around 2gb just to make sure I had enough space for a good size scratch file for photo-editing/music production. I now feel totatlly comfortable wih a 10gb music

Best bet is a copy of XP, but I don`t have a copy to install from and don`t really feel like toasting this harddrive.

Now, that being said... there are links on those pages that I wasn`t familiar with, and they could prove quite usefull.

nexst time you wish to get a new computer..that will do all what you would like it to do but not have vista and or any of the other crap that comes along with PCs...get a apple..I love ares and they are great for work type stuff

Mac OS is good
Linux is best.
However.... this is a machine that was in part mandated by the terms of my warranty on the old machine.
