Quite true what you said, "hedonistic life" (in the words of Deepak Jois) is addictive and to get back to what you truly believe in is almost impossible. I have been thinking the same. A new phrase I've picked up from another blogger is 'earn-spend-consume treadmill' - a lot of our generation is stuck on this treadmill!

The soul-earning opportunity came to naught, but still exploring other ways of getting there :) Thanks for the faith!

Oh, and congrats again :D

The reality of every observation you noted is from an irrevocable revolution.
The causality of this expression may be dwindling hope and mounting pessimism.
The futility of expectation from the ailing generation lies in emaciating idealism.
The finality of this transformation can be achieved only through intrepid irreverence or absolute submission.

Intrepid irreverence or absolute submission - tough call to make, I admit!

Dwindling hope and mounting pessimism? I doubt so, I'm full of dreams and plans and plots!
