Standing around in the auditorium, Molly wondered just what was going on. She had been one of the students to have witnessed their teacher's disappearance, but had stood down, mostly since it appeared that physical strength wasn't enough to take down the monster that had kidnapped Tomoe. This time, however, she was determined to do something about it. She wasn't back in Los Angeles, having her teammates baby her. No, this was the real thing. Nobody could tell her that she was too young to make a difference. So, she waited for someone to let her in on what the plan was.

Kanji had arrived just on time, instead of early as he had intended, due to a certain situation from earlier. Looking around to see who else was there, he spotted Molly and went over to make some light conversation with her.

"Yo, Molly! Good to see you made it!"

The sound of a familiar voice made her perk up. "Of course, I'd make it. I laugh in the face of danger." Molly teased with a grin. "Some dumb looking monster that looks like a reject from Monsters Inc doesn't scare me."

Teddie stood at the entryway to the basement, watching everybody finish preparing for the mission. "Alright, everybody! Now, it's going to be beeeary dangerous in there, and we don't even know what to expect. So I'm going to be here to provide support to you all! I'll make sure to sniff out every detail I can about the enemy. Let's do our best!"

That bear...

He seemed familiar somehow.

Shaking off those thoughts, she followed him and their group while still playing with her PSP. "You can do that?" Ran asked the blue bear.

She may have forgotten their little encounter, but he sure remembered that face! "Absolutely, Ran-chan! After all, the nose knows!" He raised his paw and patted his nose, winking in the process.

Rumored Passage B2F

[[ The second floor of the dungeon. ]]

Teddie stood with the rest of the group, having just entered the second floor. So far, the mission had been going well, but that wouldn't be any excuse for him to drop his guard. "Alright, guys! We've dealt with the monster that kidnapped Tomoe-sensei, but we still have to find her. It smells like there's something a bit further up, so be beeeary careful!"

Buguese looked around, trying to get an idea on their location. He agreed with the rather strange animal that they should proceed cautiously, but there didn't seem to be any immediate threats.

"What exactly are you?" he questioned Teddie. He liked to have some idea of the strengths and weaknesses of the people around him, but it was hard to determine this with creatures he's never seen before.

That was a question he'd been asked many times already. Of course, having once been a Shadow, Teddie didn't like to tell people too often what he was; after all, they might think he was a bad bear... "Well... I'm a Teddie!"

After the Mission

From down in the corridor, the conductor approached the team, Cat-Thing was cradled in her arms while Kanji walked beside her. Giving them a smile, she whispered, "Excellent job, group. It appears this mission had quite a twist to it. Alas, each of you worked hard and were able to save the...headmistress and defeat...Tomoe-sensei. I am very proud."

Rubbing the back of his head, he was still a little embarrassed over having to explain the gritty details of Tomoe's true intent and his own defeat to the conductor. Did she really have to seem so interested?

Kanji was there, however, glad to see that the case was solved and the mission completed, even though he couldn't be around to see it. "Uh... yeah. Really good to see everybody's still kickin'."

"Kaaaaanji!" Molly exclaimed as she ran up to him. "How was it like to be dead? Did you go to heaven? What did you see?" It appeared that she was somewhat confused by what had happened to Kanji when he got knocked out.
