Lately, Ema had become much more engrossed in a pursuit for scientific knowledge than ever before during her time on the train. Mostly because she had gotten quite a thrill from bossing her own boss around. After some dwelling on a potential experiment, she decided to go find her roommate and attempt to get him to help her. Surely, he would agree, right? "Akihiko!" exclaimed the young investigator as she suddenly opened the door to A2 without the slightest consideration for his privacy.

Taken by surprise, Akihiko turned around to look at Ema. He had just managed to set down his boxing gloves in the box he used to store them.

"...Ema. What's the matter?"

"Akihiko," began Ema with an innocent smile. "How long has it been since you've worked with something...scientifically?"

"Sc-scientifically? What do you mean by that?" He asked, a bit wary.

Of course, Akihiko had some unpleasant memories from his last scientific venture with Ema, particularly his accidental assault on one Harunobu Madarame.
