Upon listening to the knock on the door, he tensed up. Nobody had ever done so before. Perhaps it was Ryoji, one of the few who knew he was staying in the room. Even if it was not, he knew how to get rid of 'intruders'. He picked up his pistol, which had been polishing, off the floor and placed it in its holster. Then he opened C7's door, the person on the other side was indeed a stranger... A stranger in uniform. "May I help you?"

Holding back a sigh, he stopped the door from slamming on Edward's arm and pulled it away from him. "Yes?"

"You should consider coming out more and mingling with the others." He threw out some advice, wondering if he might get this guy to demystify at some point. "Nobody likes an outcast, especially in a tight place like this."

A small scoff came from him and he looked straight at him. "I have. I met a few of the other passengers, such as Ryoji Mochizuki." See, there was a reason for everything Ragnar did.

"Well, that's good." He feigned a grin. "Just thought I'd throw it out there, since it's the first time I've seen you around." With that, he stood straight again, taking his weight off of the door.

Glad that Ed was beginning to back off, he gave him a friendly nod in return. "I have heard of the conductor. A pinkhaired woman, correct?"

"...Yeah, that's her. Haven't met face to face yet, have you?" He thought it somewhat strange that he would mention her like that without having actually come into contact with her.

"No, but I have heard about her." Unfortunately for Ed, Ragnar was growing tired of him and was beginning to figure that he might serve as a pawn if nothing else.

"Well, you're bound to bump into her sooner or later." Ed said as if joking, though there really wasn't much to laugh at with this guy. "...I'll quit bothering you for now." He took a step back, not feeling he would get much more out of the conversation.

Even though he would miss a chance at using the co-conductor, he figured it'd be best to let him go for now. At least he got a...'taste' of what he was like and that knowledge was quite satisfying. "Goodbye." With that, he shut the door to C7.
