Cat-Thing wandered into the bookstore. Today, however, he did not have a mischievous look on his face. In fact, he was quite sad. It seemed that he was unable to find his owner or anyone else he liked to torment play with. He just wanted to find something to do to get his mind off how he felt.

Looking down when it seemed something was passing by, Cynthia was quite surprised. Now there was something she was definitely familiar with.

"Why, hello." She attempted to get its attention. "You look a little lost, Shinx."

Perking his head, he looked up at Cynthia. He sensed something about her that he didn't like, taking a step away from her. "Shi!"

It was obvious that the little one was wary, but it made sense. "Hm, that's alright." Calmly, she got down on her knees to be closer to it in height. "You must be looking for someone you know, right?"
