I have to admit, I like the snow.

And yes, it's normal. You should probably be aware that the Barge gets quite seasonal-Earth, western-society seasonal-in December. Expect decorations and watch out for the mistletoe.

I don't know anything about October. But it snowed every year when I grew up, though it hadn't yet this year. I suppose I didn't miss it this year after all.
