They also have a lot of it in Guilin, China. It's called Osmanthus, which can be used to make teas, wines, etcs. It generally blooms in October.

Oh, that is my favourite tree! The smell of the blossoms is one of the things I love best about fall in Japan. Its Japanese name is 金木犀 (きんもくせい). Lots of people grow smaller ones in pots, but I've seen tall, sprawling older specimens as well.
