Don't worry about it. Holding multiple visas has never been a problem anywhere.

I'm just being paranoid because my whole life is in Japan... But you're probably right!

I honestly don't have any knowledge about that particular situation, but my guess is that as long as you have a re-entry permit for Japan so that your visa there doesn't go void when you leave the country, you should be fine. I would guess that once you leave Korea, that work visa will be invalidated, so you'll be back to having one visa again anyway, once you renew in October.

True, it should be just for the time period I'm there. Okay, thank you!!

How would Japan know, anyways? I've heard of people just not renouncing their American citizenship when they get Japanese (America requires you to, I think?) and they never got in trouble. So I doubt a Japan one will be a problem. ^^

Although calling the embassy is always a safe way to go ^^

They'll know because they'll have my passport, lol! XD

But yeah, I'll probably try calling on Friday just to make double-sure.

America lets you have dual citizenship.

Actually most of the Americans I know in the UK have chosen to become UK citizens as soon as they were eligible.

Is it Japan that doesn't, then? Because I remember hearing that it was a big deal when Debito Arudo didn't renounce his American citizenship.
