2 short questions:

I've mangaged to keep my goldfish alive thus far, but Im not sure what do to when I go back home to the states. Am i allowed to take them with me? and if so, how do i go about doing that?

2. i still don't get it... how does AU charge you for internet? by how pages times you connect? or how long you stay on? or how many pages you ( Read more... )

I always remembered getting slammed with AU charges- they do charge by the amount of time you are on the internet, so try to keep it quick!

I think they charge per 128 bytes received, or something strange like that. If you use the internet a lot and you're on contract, you can pay 1000 yen extra and get a cheaper rate.

au does have an international leaflet that explains all the charges and things. Also, if you're on contract you can go at the end of the month and they'll look at your usage and see if you're on the best plan for you. With me, I'd used almost all my minutes, but hardly gone online at all, so they kept my plan as it was.
