In my last, oh-so-long-ago entry, I wrote that Tom and I were going out for Halloween. What actually transpired was that I made the well-thought out decision to consume no less than three four ounce Martinis in the space of one hour. Your description of the kites intrigued me so I had to go looking for some photos.

Loved your post! I'm a six foot tall woman living in northern Thailand, where most hill tribe people are shy of five feet. I've felt that way precicely!
