I’m going to be moving to Frankfurt am Main for a year starting in July and I was just wondering if anyone here was familiar with the art scene/club scene. I’m also interested in any cool little out of the way cafes or just fun little places to hang out because I will have a lot of free time during the day and I would like to get out, see the city

I'm not familiar with the art scene, but the club scene I'm all too familiar with. The Cave is probably the one place every Frankfurter goes to one time or another.

Being among the old and married Frankfurt residents, I only know about the bars surrounding Alte Sachsenhausen by Lokal Bahnhof station. Which has always been friendly enough. http://www.sachsenhausen-live.de/
