Seems quite on topic to me. It's definitely an expat issue, learning languages, and involves knowledge of two foreign countries to resolve. The post that prompted me to get all moderatory was about Weight Watchers.
I did an intensive two week course when I first moved to Italy -- one at the Puccini Center in Viareggio and another at the Centro Fiorenze on the island of Elba. They second was a fantastic way to spend a couple of weeks in the summer. After the four hour classes, we opted for an additional hour or so of private tuition. If you already have a good base, you can make a heck of a lot of progress like that. They're not near Milan, per se, but you could probably find something similar in Milan or environs.
