It's fall again, my favorite season. I love it when the air turns crisp, the leaves start to change, and we get to put on our sweaters and fleeces. I also love fall's food. Mushrooms, squash, parnships, oh and mushrooms. Oh how I love the mushrooms

Traditional way of cooking cabbage in the UK - boil it, boil it some more, boil it even more, try not to gag as you eat it (I hate cabbage!)

I've fallen in love with mushrooms, too, since I moved to Germany. In fact, I just came back from a mushroom hunt, our bags filled not only with the common maronen, but also the much more rare steinpilze and birkenpilze. Mushroom hunting has definitely become one of my favorite fall activities!
