Jumping in about the rash. Apparently it's guitar rash. It's where the guitar keeps rubbing against his arm and BF explained this to a fan at the buses on one of the tour dates.

yeah i always thought that was why he used to wear those sweatband things on his wrist - i noticed during the AI tour that his arm would hit his guitar right in that spot.
