In general, I'd say that having a witness, even one favorable to my idiosyncracies, is a good motivator for me to be more aware and make better decisions. In specific, the particulars of the mechanics have thus far proven harmonious, and that is a boon. There are angels, not devils, in these details.
I think we've only spoken briefly once, kind of late, something like nearly 4 odd years or so ago. I don't even know if the number I have that your name is beside is your number anymore.
My own story finally gets some kind of plot motion Friday. Court. Hearing. Uninteresting but rather critical. The rest of my days are spent as an experiment for people ablating my nerves and soon putting alien pods in me that will spit at my spine to make it unaware of the existence of me as I truly am. Rather intriguing, but still, I would rather be searching for dodo birds.
It is quite a state of affairs that you must stew in. I honestly can't fully comprehend, and I imagine that is the rule instead of the exception. We all have choices in life. So many seem to be out of your hands. It makes me sad.
I will say this much... my judge Friday was brand new to this particular type of adjudication (previously worked with the International Trade Commission and Department of Agriculture)... so she, a pretty woman with this long black hair tucked behind her ear beside her petite, pale face that somehow set me at ease as I saw her on a TV... well, she was far more concerned about doing it right than the old geezers who thankfully retired (were just doing it grudgingly until they hit the retirement optimum)... she's younger than them, female, compassionate, and she read my case beforehand right down to the papers my lawyer overnighted to her Wednesday (so she got them 1 day in advance--last minute medical records)... lots of things so unusual... but I really have a great chance of winning this because her questions weren't questions determining disability... they were determining when it started. She got it dated back to 2002, essentially, with 2004 being my last attempt at part time work--remember that teary-eyed conversation I had with
