Kris is a student studying architecture and his current project requires him to read up on the history of a sacred society and their old buildings. He comes across a set of 12 symbols which represent different elements and powers of the 12 chosen ones. Before the society got destroyed and went extinct, these chosen few were well respected, fighting the evil spirits and demons as one to protect the people of their land.

Kris has never been one to believe in such stuff, but for some reason, he finds it all very fascinating.

However, as he reads on, the book mentions that there are rumors that all of the sacred members have indeed survive the last battle and lived on among humans to seek revenge on the demon from the darkest depths of the earth that destroyed their society. Some of them lost their memories, while others had the power to restore them. 11 of them have come together and have been waiting for a final member, their leader, ever since, who has yet to surface
