neighbors!au where they both live across each other and communicate by writing on little whiteboards/sketch books (because kyungsoo's voice is too soft and chanyeol still can't hear it although he has huge ears) they quickly become close friends, asking each other about their days, interests and hobbies. sometimes one of them would wait at his balcony for the other to reach home from work. sometimes one of them complains that they're running out of pages to write or their markers are running out of ink. although they shared a lot of stuff together, they never asked about meeting and /speaking/ to each other in person
