Oh god, authornon... I feel like a huge chunk got ripped out of my chest and the emptiness hurts so much.

How Minseok insists that they're okay LIES T.T and they're still friends.
How despite everything, Jongdae tries to crack a few jokes to make things better.
Their Exo-M Korea-line bond and how what they have to do might destroy that.

You connected it so well with previous parts, too. And I think your no-nonsense writing style fits the situation and XiuChen's characters really well.

I like how it fits in with the rest of them, especially Minseok/Luhan bits, omg. I also enjoyed getting a glimpse to Kris/Jongdae because when they heard him cry I was like: BUT WHAT DID KRIS DO, HE WOULD NEVER?! And then that idiot tries to be gentle when he's dying asghdfg.

Every single one of them cares too much about each other, makes you rethink the "We are one" slogan in such a heartbreaking way.

Jongdae coming through and helping Minseok despite being in pain, I broke, sobs.

not op but omg aldksfja i love how this delves into their relationships and feelings, because I know some people think 72hours!au is just excuse for kinky porn, but when done right it's really so much more. We get to see how they are when put under horrific conditions and their friendship tested to such a degree that some might never recover. It's an exploration of their psyche and you did that here, in particular with Minseok's inner thoughts about Luhan and all that's left unsaid
