So, in the past 4 months or so, I have gained about 15-20 lbs. This is not something that I am proud of because last year I lost all that weight. And I was feeling very good about myself and how successful I was at getting back down to a regular weight for myself. i was in the same boat you were in, i lost a ton of weight last summer and this past summer i gained it all back. just from drinking nothing but water i lost 5 lbs and i went out to eat but i'd only order salads (even if it was smother'd in dressing, but its still a salad right?). it was hard but after about a week i was feeling better inside and out :)

yeahh, I know exactly what you mean.. It's sad gaining it back, but hopefully it'll stay off.

You're actually overdoing it with the plan you've laid out. This is a classic "yo-yo" diet. You are completely changing your dietary intake and your body is going to go through the preliminary stages of ketosis/lipolytic shock. You will lose a bunch of weight for the first 3-4 weeks, but as soon as you switch your diet again and relax -- you'll actually put on 1.5x-2x the amount of weight you started with. The reason for this is due to the state your body is in when it experiences ketosis ( ... )

well, this isn't that drastic of a change that I'm planning on making.. giving up on soda, candy and coffee is really the only difference that I'm making, that and not eating out anymore..

Thanks though!
